2024 Sustainability Summit VII – October 18, 2024 at the KCAC
The public is invited to attend the 2024 Sustainability Summit VII. This engaging and informative event will be held on Friday, October 18th at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The event is free, but registration is required and can be done at www.sustainableindianacounty.org.
This year’s Summit seeks to demonstrate how sustainability-oriented development can spur significant cost savings for local governments, area businesses, county agencies, and homeowners. The Summit allows multiple opportunities for networking with a diverse audience of office holders, business owners, agency representatives, and citizens.
The conveners are pleased to welcome Cindy Adams Dunn, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as our keynote speaker.
In addition, panels consisting of local and regional experts will share their insights and experiences on topics such as:
*Creating opportunity from environmental challenges
*Collaborating for effective community revitalization
*Advancing community based economic development
*Fostering regenerative agriculture and resilient local food systems
