Pittman, Struzzi Announce $9.1 Million in RACP Grants for Indiana County
On November 1, 2024, Sen. Joe Pittman and Rep. Jim Struzzi announced $9.1 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants for four projects in Indiana County.
- Homer City Redevelopment, LLC – $5 million for a natural gas pipeline improvement project.
- Indiana County Commissioners – $1.75 million to renovate historic buildings and establish a Welcome Center in downtown Indiana.
- YMCA of Indiana County – $1.75 million for ADA compliance upgrades, new wellness and community spaces, and infrastructure improvements.
- Platinum Visual Solutions – $600,000 for facility restoration and upgrades.
Pittman emphasized the funding’s role in economic and community development, while Struzzi highlighted its impact on infrastructure and accessibility. The RACP program, administered by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget, supports projects that promote regional economic growth.
